Our pricing for 2014 is now updated and we are proud to display it on our website!
We have no secrets with our pricing. We want our customers to work with their own personal budget
while we work on creating great images and delivering amazing products.
All our sessions have a “creative fee”. Our creative fee covers the time and talent of the photographer, editor and assistants. This is a non refundable fee though can be transferred to another date with appropriate notice. You will never regret the investment of artistic photography, the moments we will capture together will bring joy to you forever. We normally book 2-8 weeks in advance and once your session has been scheduled you will receive a welcome email that includes all the details required. We will decide together on a location that is best suited to your family, one that reflects your personalities and decide on the overall feel of your custom session. Or you can choose to visit our residential studio where we offer several different options for backdrops and styling. Booking with Rees & Rees Photography means booking a session with Michele and Jase, not just a company but a couple; we truly want to make your memories personal to you and create photos for your family to be cherished for a lifetime.
* Military families receive a 10% discount on all session prices when requested.
* We do not charge extra to add family members to your session.
Please know that we do not permit the use of personal film, video cameras, cell phones or digital cameras in the studio, on location while we are working or ordering room at any time.
To Reserve your date…
You may want to choose a collection (from our “Collections” pagehttp://reesandreesphotography.com/collections/ ) If you know what collection you wish to order prior to your session, this can help us to customize your session to suit your collection. You are a special person to us and your session (including YOUR collection) will reflect that!
All clients pay 1/3rd of the creative fee to commission Rees & Rees Photography for their portraits and book their session date. This portion of the final fee is non-refundable! Your session cannot be booked and your date cannot be held without this payment.
Here’s how it works:
1. You contact us and book your session date!
2. Once you have paid you 1/3 of your session fee we will finalize and secure your chosen date. This portion of your creative fee is non refundable.
3. The remainder owing is due on the day of the session. You may pay it at any time prior to the session but the session will not take place if payment is not paid upon arrival to your session.
4. Your images will be ready for your ordering appointment in approximately 1 – 2 weeks time. We will set an appointment date for you to come to Rees & Rees Photography Studio to enjoy a viewing of your images with us. We will be here for you to help you decide which images you would like according to what package you choose. We also have many a la carte products to choose from should you require specific items. Rees & Rees Photography is here to help you choose your images in person!
We understand how important digital images are in today’s digital world and so when you choose one of our collections (not our a la carte items) you will receive your digital ordering session images on USB, as our gift to you. If you do not wish to order a collection our digital images are available for a starting price $100 per image.
Maternity: $200
This session will include 1 to 2 hours session time. We also are here to provide much of what wear. You can arrive with just your undies and we can put you in something to create a beautiful day for you. We have a lovely studio location or home studio location available depending on what type of session and images you would like. You will also receive a Welcome brochure to help you plan for you session day.
Newborn: $200
Your Newborn session can last anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. We offer our Newborn sessions in the most comfortable place we know of… our home studio. You will be in the same room with us and your baby. You will be able to relax right next to us on a very comfortable couch and let us do all the work. We can’t wait to meet your new baby! You will receive a Newborn Welcome guide to help you prepare for your session with us via snail mail; we want you to feel and see and enjoy this booklet celebrating the birth of your child.
From Bumps to Baby: A maternity and newborn package $300
Your maternity session will last from 20 – 30 minutes. This is a very special and often emotional part of your family journey… this is the beginning of your story (even more than your wedding day in our opinion). Your day will be filled with soothing love and comfort and we will capture the moments that you will cherish forever. We will also begin planning and booking for your newborn session.
Newborn sessions should be withing the first 2 weeks of your babies birth. Our studio allows you all the comforts of home, it should, it’s ours… and we will share all those comforts with you when you arrive. You will receive a Newborn session brochure to help you prepare for your session and we are always here to help you through your questions and concerns! A newborn session can last 2 to 3 hours… don’t worry, we know you’ll be tired and have the perfect couch located right next to us and baby!
There is an additional $75 fee to have your Newborn session shot on location (at your home or elsewhere)
Any 60 minute session: $175
This is a 60 minute photography session with Michele and Jase at our studio, on-location at your home or a location agreed upon for Family, Children or pets. Your creative fee includes Michele and Jase’s time and talent for 60 minutes, a custom styled session either in studio or on location, professional editing of your images, and 20 – 30 images to select from at your ordering session.
Any 30 minute: $100
This session includes a 30 minute session with Michele and Jase, in studio or on location for Family, Children or pets. Your creative fee includes Michele and Jase’s time and talent for 30 minutes, a custom styled session either in studio or on location, professional editing of your images, and 10 – 15 images to select from at your ordering session.
Christmas Day: Yup… you read it right! We’re available on Christmas day $999
The very coveted Christmas day session. Rees & Rees Photography offers three available sessions for Christmas day. Morning, afternoon and evening sessions with Michele and Jase are available and guaranteed to be magical. We will arrive at your home in Christmas attire and will spend 1 – 2 hours photographing all those precious and magical Christmas moments with your family. You will also receive a complimentary platter of home baked cookies and treats, made specially by Michele and Jase, and a bottle of wine or port. Christmas is the one day of the year it seems we are all available to be together as a family. It is also that very magical time of year with the most beautiful backdrops anyone could ever hope for. * Please note that all bookings must be located in Belleville due to possible weather conditions* Your creative Christmas session will include a USB/ disc with 30 fully edited images capturing all those “never caught before” Christmas moments. Morning session can capture moments of waking up, breakfast, gift opening, stocking opening etc.; Afternoon session can capture the arrival of family, unwrapping of gifts, early dinners or food prep with loved ones; Evening sessions can include: the lighting of the house, family portraits outside or beside the lit tree, opening of gifts and family party. These sessions will also come with a mini video capturing moments of your day set to one instrumental holiday song. * Please note that all music is copyright free and we know the very best sights to find a good fit. These videos are meant to capture the emotion and joy of your love for Christmas and your family, the music is background and should not take away from the true focus. A perfect gift for that hard to buy for person!
